Where in the world is Jessie going to be? Part Third times the charm

Hello Lovelies!

So, here’s the deal.

I went on a trip and had to make some blog posts.

So I made them.

While I was still on the road.

They were finished.

Turns out, that this iPad of mine does NOT function well without wifi.

And it saved none of it.

So, My initial reaction was:

And then go into fetal position and cry for a couple of days.

😦

Let me tell you guys.

Transitions are hard.

And lame (sometimes)

But no more!

For I shall figure this iPad and this transition out!

it may take a little while, and be depressed at all of the fails I’ve done, but I SHALL PREVAIL!

And you guys, I have BIG NEWS.

DID YOU WANT TO FINALLY KNOW WHERE I AM GOING?

I HAVE SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETED IN CHOOSING THE COUNTRY THAT I SHALL RESIDE IN.

DRUM ROLL PLEASE

Are you drumming the roll?

I don’t think you are.

It’s okay.

I can wait.

OKAY.

I AM GOING TO:

YUP.

It’s officially official.

I know what you’re thinking.

“FINALLY.

SOMETHING THAT IS OFFICIAL.

ABOUT TIME THERE JESSIE.

I WAS STARTING TO GET REAL SICK AND TIRED OF THIS I DON’T KNOW BUISNESS.”

I feel ya man.

But now I can tell you that I am 110% sure that I am going to Taiwan as my foreign exchange.

Breaking the news to Australia was actually not as bad I a thought it would be.

Their whole attitude was kind of stand-offish and I don’t care about you really at all.

While Taiwan’s was wonderful and kind and welcoming and more than willing to assist in any way possible.

How crazy is this?

Taiwan wasn’t even on my radar, yet here I am, MOVING TO TAIWAN.

TAIPEI IS A HUMONGO CITY.

 WILL BE IN A CITY.

*internal screaming*

If I would of chosen Australia, it would have been a itty bitty town of less than 3,000 people that is over an hour away from the next City.

IS SHALL BE GOING TO COLLEGE IN TAIWAN

Even though I’m not even graduated yet here in ‘Murica.

It’s turning out that I go to college, then come back to here graduate high school.

They told me what school I’m going to, and I got to Google Map it and walk around the Taipei streets like I will in a couple weeks! Only this time was virtual and not even the real thing.

BUT STILL.

PRETTY AWESOME NONETHELESS.

Taiwan has given me a time frame in which it would be best if I could arrive.

(Aren’t they wonderfully effecient?)

August 22nd-27th is the preferred time, but they’re pretty flexible 🙂

(How nice)

And apparently The Rotary club is HUGE and totally respected over there.

So many bonuses.

So many beautiful bonuses making me want to live there as soon as possible!

 Gah.

Much Love~

Where in the world is Jessie going to be? Part: one too many

BIG NEWS YOU GUYS

I MAY OR MAY NOT BE GOING TO AUSTRALIA.

MOSTLY MAY NOT.

I know, I know, you guys are probably all like,

Where in the world

and all like

“Geez Jessie you told us about one part of the world saying that it’ for SURE, and then you disappear for the next week or so, and show up with a completely different destination that you had in mind!

WAY  TO BE A FEMALE.”

And I deserve that.

Sorta.

That was kind of mean you guys.

Remember in my last blog post where I just kind of mentioned that I was looking at going to Taiwan or Spain while Australia was failing in every communication way possible?

Well I looked more into it.

And to tell you the truth, I’d rather go to Spain, but that’s not going to happen.

And ACTUALLY I had absolutely NO intention of going to Taiwan if I could help it.

But whilst in another hiatus with any sort of communication with Australia, I got this strange email from Taiwan!

There was this girl introducing herself and Taiwan, and wanted to know what kind of school I’d like to go to.

I of course was flabbergasted and kind of weirded out.

So I sent an email to Macho Man saying, WHAT IS THIS. WHY. WHAT DOES IT MEAN.

And he calmly answered with “It means if Australia falls through, then you’ll have a place to stay.”

So as communication with Australia still not happening, communication with Taiwan was booming.

We were emailing each other back and forth, my questions have been answered, I’m going to a business school, and I even have a link to it!

So, with all of the communications going splendidly, I just wanted to know more about Taiwan.

And as I looked at the videos, and blog posts, and articles, it was all overwhelmingly positive.

And I know if you look up anything it’s mostly positive about the place because they want you to go there, but I was looking in the comments section.

and the comments were full of nothing but praises to Taiwan.

About wanting to go back.

Calling it the “Hidden Jewel”

Saying that they wouldn’t trade anything for the experience that they had.

And MUCH MUCH more.

So I looked up Australia, and most of the videos were about large cities, and swimming all day every day.

If I were to go to Australia, I would live in a town of 3,000 people with over an hour and a half to the nearest city.

If I went to Taiwan, I’d be going to Taipei!

The largest city!

The busiest!

And turns out, there is a girl that was a foreign exchange student to Taiwan that lives in a town like 10 minutes away from mine!

So I’m going to meet up with her before I have any final decisions.

Basically this explains what’s happened during my absence of posts on this blog.

expressiondifferenceswwords

that’s me at the computer btw

And I’m going to dedicate a blog post to the Pro’s and cons to both places.

So stay tuned for that! 🙂

But this is the crazy update right now.

Boy I’ve been changing my mind so much ya’ll must think I’m a mouse in a cheese shop trying to choose his favorite cheese.

Now that I think about it the differences aren’t that significant.

…..

….

..

…..

Brb, reevaluating my life.

Much love and deciding to do,

Tea Talking Wednesday- Who’s the real winner here SAT?

Tea Talking Wednesday

Woah you guys.

Sorry for skipping 2 post days.

For Saturday I had no time to post, but Monday was purely because I forgot.

Whoops.

Sorry.

But I’m here to talk to you about what my Saturday was like!

Because it was the day I took my SAT.

DUN DUN DUNNNNNNNNN.

And I actually didn’t take any pictures because I’m a freaking bozo.

I was also taking a test for 4 hours that if you bring the wrong calculator you’re kicked out.

So I didn’t take any chances.

But I did bring a banana!

Although I never ate it there.

I did eat it in the car going home though.

Not that that really matters.

Or maybe it does.

~~

My day started off with me waking up earlier that I usually do for school.

Getting to the building 15 minutes early.

First one signed in.

Then I took the SAT.

The SAT is a really long test.

We had about four 5 minute breaks.

Just enough time to stand up and get a drink.

Maybe even go to the bathroom if you hurry.

There were at least 4 math sections.

I thought I was done with all of the math when I finished the first section.

Then there was another one!

blog-6.3

and another one!

pencil-on-blank-scantron-360-240

and another one.

????????????????????????????????

What it would look like if I was a baby and took the SAT

Finally the last math section rolled around, and it so happened to be the last section for the whole SAT.

And I was totally burned out.

I also didn’t know a single answer on that section, and I blatantly guessed on them.

I’m sorry, but I just do not know how to find the dip in the plane.

Or how to make a quadrilateral equation/formula/thing

But I do know how to make a banana split.

So who’s the real winner here?

I guess the SAT is since I’m still going to practice how to find the dip in the plane.

…….

But if you need a banana split you’ll know who to call.

Much love ~

Wednesday Tea Talk- Why I’m

Hello Lovelies!

It’s snowing here today.

Again.

And you know what?

I’m enjoying it!

I love the beautiful snow, the fires to stay warm and blankets and tea.

And that’s what has been going down February and March 🙂

Spring break isn’t necessary going to be cold though, with the highs about 60 degrees. (Fahrenheit)

So I’ve been trying to enjoy this cold as much as I can, since Australia isn’t going to be real big on snow either.

Processed with VSCOcam with f2 preset

I’ve really been seriously loving this weather

For the past week or so, there hasn’t been too much snow, but we DID get another snow day!

Woot Woot!

Which means NO test in Geometry, since we’d be behind schedule if my class took the test.

Thank you snow day.

I owe you so much.

But the snow has been so little, but just enough to look nice, and still be really cold.

Processed with VSCOcam with f2 preset

Does this mound of snow look big?

Because It’s about a foot high.

Did I trick you?

Because that is what I was seriously going for, and if you already guessed that it was a really tiny mound, that would be depressing.

I totally tricked you.

Processed with VSCOcam with f2 preset

Just about everyone here hates the snow though.

I must’ve been placed here in this small town of almostnothingeverhappensherenoteventornadoesbuti’mokaywiththetornadopart

in Kansas so I can appreciate the beauty and all around loveliness that snow, and coldness brings, because all I hear is whining.

NO YOU RANDOM CITIZEN!

SHUT CHO WHINY MOUTH!

SNOW IS WONDERFUL.

When I was a Nanny, I was the one that loved the snow.

I would try to convince the kids go outside in the snow and I’d be the happiest.

Maybe I should move to Russia, or Alaska.

Probably Alaska, since I can only speak English.

Take this picture I found of this adorable dog.

This is me in snow

dog

This dog is my spirit animal.

Pretty happy right?

This is everybody else in snow

fox

This is not my spirit animal

But it’s fine, because they can’t control the weather.

I can’t either, but that’s besides the point.

Because I’m enjoying this snow while it lasts.

And it’s awesome

Finally! IT IS FINISHED.

Hello lovelies!

Thanks for being so very patient with me!

I’ve had very very very little time to do anything with the blog, everything kind of hit me a once.

Which was inevitable, with me procrastinating all year long with stuff.

For shame!

Yeah, yeah, I know.

But I now know the full power of procrastinating, and let me tell you!

There is no happiness involved.

At all.

You think I’m kidding?

IMG_6688

Yes that is an orange.

I get a little snacky*.

*(WordPress thinks that snacky is spelled wrong. Uh, no it isn’t. Your face is wrong WordPress)

Procrastination kids.

I can’t even balance all of my work. Mainly because the orange fell.
Curse you delectable but round fruit!

Okay!

I have a surprise for ya’ll!

Remember my last post where I was talking about getting on the ball with this blog, and actually taking the time to do a great job?

Well it happened!

I have a blog calendar, I’ve made pictures, I’ve thought of post ideas, I daydreamed about naps, the whole works!

So I now have a set time on when I will post!

WHOO!

Thank you thank you! Your applause is unnecessary, but I love it anyway.

This is the set time for now.

Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays.

All posted by the latest 7:00pm.

Something you guys can hold me too 🙂

Are you as excited as me? Probably not, but then again, you haven’t seen everything yet!

I’ve thought about these for a while, and I’m pretty proud of them (If I do say so myself)

You ready for this?

On Mondays, I’ll be posting either:

Or

Monday Mumbles

Monday Marbles is going to be stories on my crazy wonderful life, and the proof that I have most definitely lost my marbles (Won’t be too hard to think about on what to write for this)

((at all))

Monday Mumbles Is for when I’ve had something on my mind that has no set category, and I want to share it with ya’ll.

NEXT is Wednesday!

[ SIDENOTE one time my sister, my manager and I got into a heated debate on how to spell Wednesday. My manager and I were right. We even had to ask a customer on this.]

Wednesday is going to be:

Tea Talking Wednesday

Tea does not talk, but I like drinking tea, and talking.
It’s Perfect!

Kind of the same concept as Monday mumbles, but it’s Wednesday and there is tea involved.

So slightly better.

Plus its hump day.

HUMP DAAAAY.

And last but certainly not least, the Saturday post will be:

Sorta Saturday

I’m going to have a digital drawing of mine incorporated in these posts.

I don’t think you lovely people know this, but I love to draw.

My family has been pushing me to do something with my drawings for a cringe-worthy amount of time.

I have a drawing bamboo tablet, that I’m still getting used to, a Sorta Saturday in need for Sorta-ness, and it just fits.

So, what do you guys think?

Personally, I’m super pumped!

I can not wait to try these out!

Now this new normal is set to now.

So my next post will be on Saturday!

My first Sorta Saturday!

Till next time~

New Zealand. That’s where it’s at.

Hey ya’ll!

I’ve got something to tell you all.

I like a lot of things.

Fans, heating mattresses, fashion, bonfires, grumpy cat, exploring, guns, and I could go on,

But I’ve gotta say I have a list of top 10 things that I think about ALL the time at least everyday if not more.

Not in order.

1. Australia: Awh yeah its coming up!

2. Thranduil: So sassy. So great. Werk it.

3. New Zealand: The land of perfection. LITERALLY Middle Earth.

4. Maturity level of teenagers: (usually at school) This is making me sad.

5. Yoga: Someday I’ll be able to do this pose, and it will be amazing.

6. Tea: Sunshine Lemon Roibos. You make me complete.

7. Naps: I wish there was a rollover plan for all of the naps I refused as a child.

8. Sherlock: I’LL DANCE WITH YOU SHERLOCK

9. Politics: What would happen if you told a liberal you can’t say bigot, racist, homphobic, or hater and then they had to debate with Ron Paul?

10. Christianity: I need to work on this.

These lovely words are what takes up most of my mind.

But lately, New Zealand has been appearing EVERYWHERE.

Yesterday it was in my Science textbook.

Actually it’s in almost every science chapter.

I see random news about New Zealand..

Videos when I’m not even looking for them.

I found a blog that the writer so happens to be a New Zealander,

Lord of the Rings were filmed there as well, just about every epic movie has been filmed there.

It randomly appears on Pinterest and Facebook as well.

IT’S A SIGN.

I don’t exactly know what the sign means, but I’ll figure that out.

It probably has something to do with amazing food or a unicorn.

I hope someday I’ll arrive in New Zealand.

Whether or not I’ll be a superstar when I’m there is still to be decided.

(fingers crossed!)

Seriously guys. How can you NOT want to see New Zealand?

Image

NOT my picture. this is Nico Nuzzaci’s Click on the picture for his flickr!

I love it you guys. Also their accent is my favorite.

I met a Kiwi, and he was the coolest dude ever. He taught me how to abseil off a castle!

He also says ‘sweet as!’ (like sweet as pie) and ‘Can you handle the jandle?’

In conclusion, New Zealand loves me too, always appearing everywhere.

We’re besties now.

Till next time!
